There is nothing like a warm, tasty biscuit! With only 6 ingredients and a good 25 minutes, you will have delicious, warm, and flaky biscuits for the whole family.
I make these biscuits so often. They are literally a great addition to any meal. Recently I used them with homemade gravy mix (recipe coming soon!) and my family LOVED it!
They would be great with jelly or butter for breakfast.
They would be great with chicken and mashed potatoes.
You can add them to any dish and it makes for a great starch addition!
Check out the recipe below and give it a try!

Ingredients:
2 Cups of flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1 Tablespoon granulated sugar
1 Teaspoon salt
6 Tablespoons of unsalted butter - very cold
¾ cup whole milk, buttermilk, or 2% milk (whatever you prefer or have on hand)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 425 and line a cookie sheet with nonstick parchment paper.
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a large bowl and mix well.
Remove your butter from the refrigerator and cut it into small pieces or use a cheese grater then add it to your flour mixture.
Add milk, use a wooden spoon or spatula to stir until combined (don't over-work the dough).
Transfer your biscuit dough to a well-floured surface and use your hands to gently work the dough together. If the dough is too sticky, add flour until it is manageable.
Once the dough is cohesive, fold it in half over itself and use your hands to gently flatten layers together. Rotate the dough 90 degrees and fold it in half again, repeating this step 5-6 times but taking care to not overwork the dough.
Use your hands to flatten the dough to 1" thick. either use a dough cutter to cut your biscuits into circles or if you do not have one, use a mason jar or similar cup to cut them out into perfect circles.
Making close cuts, press the biscuit cutter or cup of choice straight down into the dough and drop the biscuit onto your prepared baking sheet.
Repeat until you have gotten as many biscuits as possible and place less than ½" apart on a baking sheet.
Once you have gotten as many biscuits as possible out of the dough, gently re-work the dough to get out another biscuit or two until you have at least 6 biscuits.
Bake at 425 for 12 minutes or until tops are beginning to just turn lightly golden brown.
If desired, brush with melted butter immediately after removing from the oven. Serve warm and enjoy.
